Are you interested in amateur radio? Have you been looking for a group to join that is all about amateur radio? If so, this is the place. Even if you're not licensed but want to learn, this is a great spot.
The Daviess County Amateur Radio Club (K9SFL) is an club dedicated to Amateur Radio and all involved within. We plan to meet the second Wednesday of every month at Washington High School (608 E Walnut St, 47501 -- Enter gate 6) at 7:00 pm (23:00 UTC). From the north on Highway 57, take a left at the second stoplight (Van Trees Street), then take another left at 7th Street, which is the second left once on Van Trees. You will go north two blocks and will see the WHS sign. Enter at gate 6 which is the corner of 7th and Walnut. The first edition of the DC ARC newsletter, which contains information about the club and meeting place, is available online. Can't make it to the meetings? Join us on the Washington repeater (147.315+ No PL) for the meeting talk-in.
You can also join us on our weekly nets on the Washington 2-meter repeater: 147.315+, no PL. We meet at 8:00PM every Thursday night.
Though there isn't much information on our website at the moment, expect the site to grow as the club grows. If you would like more information abou the club, or any other questions you may have, please contact us.
